Authentication

Before accessing the system, you need to signup as a user. Please send us a note to [email protected] to get your API Key.

Lucinity API Keys#

Lucinity authenticates your API requests using your account's API Keys.

Your API key is used to make any API call on behalf of your account and allows you to interact with the Lucinity Platform.

API Key

Treat your secret API key as you would treat your password. Grant access only to those who need it. We recommend keeping it out of any version control system you may be using.

Accessing your API Key#

At this time, API Keys will be provided and managed by Lucinity. Shortly, however, API Keys will be self-managed through the Customer Portal.

Authentication#

Lucinity uses API keys to grant access to the API. You can procure an API key or rotate them. API keys have full access to your account and are 'owned by the account owner. Therefore, all actions are tied to a specific account, as if the account owner was performing them.

API Example with API-Key#

Using API Key
var unirest = require("unirest");var req = unirest("GET", "https://api.lucinity.com/actor/100");
req.headers({    "X-Api-Key": "qiTgISif4zprgBb5j4hXfp3qhD"});req.end(function (res) {    if (res.error) throw new Error(res.error);    console.log(res.body);});
